Les Parfums De Rosine are well known for their Rose based fragrances, in fact they are a staple of the house. One of the many Rose based fragranced from them is Une Folie De Rose, which was created by Francois Robert and launched in 2004. The top notes are Bergamot and Coriander which make way for a floral avalanche in the heart of the fragrance, with Jasmine, Iris, Ylang Ylang and 3 types of Rose, Tea Rose, Bulgarian Rose and Turkish Rose, which steal the stage. The base notes are Benzoin, Oakmoss, Patchouli, Sandalwood and Vetiver. Unlike many Rose notes the ones here aren't sweetened, but are instead raw, complex and stark. The raw Rose melds wonderfully with the Patchouli, Oakmoss and Vetiver to create a truly gorgeous, unique and long lasting scent.
